Brown's Gateway to Private Equity
The Brown Private Equity Club is a student-run organization dedicated to building a vibrant community for Brown students interested in private equity. We strive to develop the next generation of investors and open doors to careers in the field.
We support our members at every step along their journey, providing them with the technical skills, analytical experience, and industry exposure that the field demands. Our programming centers on the following three pillars:
Technical Training
Our rigorous BPEC Academy equips first-semester students with core skills across accounting, valuations, LBO fundamentals, modeling, and financial analysis. Academy graduates leave with a toolkit they will continue to sharpen throughout their time in the club and in their professional endeavors.
Hands-On Experience
Through our analyst program, members work directly with private equity firms on live deal work spanning industry research, sourcing, CIM reviews, business analysis, and financial modeling. These hands-on projects give students the chance to gain real-world experience early in their collegiate careers.
Industry Access
Our speaker series brings accomplished investment professionals back to campus, while firm info sessions and recruiting trips connect members directly with industry leaders. Together, these opportunities help students build lasting relationships with the people and firms shaping private markets.
